In 2004, I got to know Elvis impersonator CHRIS KAYE, who persuaded me to take part in his project – referred to as Original Vienna Brothers - as "Joliet" Jake Blues. Our first CD, entitled „The blues is back!”, can be previewed and ordered on this website. In addition to legendary Blues Brothers classics like “Gimme Some Lovin?”, “Everybody Needs Somebody”, “Sweet Home, Chicago”, “Minnie the Moocher” and many more - taken from the first movie - and “(Ghost) Riders in the Sky” and “New Orleans” from the second movie, we also played our own arrangements. Chris naturally takes on Elvis' role and I impersonate a large array of people including Cat Stevens, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Beatles, Sammy Davis Jr., Rolling Stones, Bill Withers, Tony Christie, and many more. I also composed and rehearsed choreographies for songs like “Think” and “R-E-S-P-E-C-T”. Josi then added the finishing touches...

A performance at the THEATERBÜHNE BUNT GEMISCHT in December 2004 also marked my first appearance as an actor (not counting various plays at school). I played a triple role in a Christmas story called ”Scrooge” as the Ghost Rattling Chains, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Beggar. The play was directed by Chris Kaye and co-directed by Josi Pawek, whose involvement was of particular significance because we became engaged August 2005 (and currently not any more)!

In 2005, I had the honor of making an appearance with members of the best cover band in the Northern Hemisphere, MONTI BETON. Not least among its members was Thomas Schreiber, who also is is the president of an exceptional Elvis fan club called FTD (FOLLOW THAT DREAM). This is the place to find Elvis memorabilia of any type, both rare and common.

I felt further honored in 2005 when I was given a part in a play at the ORIGINAL WIENER STEGREIFBÜHNE, formerly Tschauner, on July 25.

The first half of the year 2006 slipped by rather quietly. I was able to concentrate on creating my first album, ”Selected Songs”, which was recorded in Boogie World Champion HANNES JARIC's studios.
